Copenhagen & London – Styled showrooms

A trip to Copenhagen and London in late May it was a fantastic way to kick start the summer design festivals.

In Copenhagen, I had the privilege of previewing my partners new designs launching in June at Copenhagen’s increasingly popular 3 Days of Design. My partners at New Works kindly gave me a tour of their stunning space located in Frederiksstaden, nestled between Store Kongensgade and the historic Marble Church.

I loved exploring the space and seeing all their beautiful designs in soft neutral tones.

My stay at the Audo Hotel was brief but inspiring, as I saw their latest pieces and festival launches.

Audo House is filled with sophisticated and classic furniture from Danish design brand Audo Copenhagen. The showroom is located in the new, industrial Copenhagen neighborhood of Nordhavn. It has its own Restaurant and Café where visitors can relax and enjoy the inspiring surroundings. The Audo Hotel features 9 incredible rooms with highly sophisticated interiors that I loved my stay in.  Thank you to everyone at The Audo!

Next up, I flew into London just in time for the annual Clerkenwell Design Week. London, with its dense design district, never fails to inspire with the sheer concentration of design and interior studios. I couldn’t resist a visit to Carl Hansen & Søn’s showroom to see how Danish design is interpreted in the English city.

During my visit, I reconnected with old friends at Icons of Denmark. Clerkenwell Design Week is always a reminder of my previous work with them, having re-designed their previous showroom space during this festival.
