Tropical Modernism at The Colony Club

For Modernism Week 2026, Studio Haslund curated a series of tropical floral installations for The Colony Club, inspired by the architectural spirit and relaxed glamour of the desert. Working with the sculptural ceramic and glass vessels of Danish designer Louise Roe, whose pieces reflect the timeless simplicity and materiality of Scandinavian design, the arrangements balanced organic movement with structured form, pairing tropical orchids, branches, and tonal greens against clean, architectural silhouettes. The collaboration reflects Studio Haslund’s continued focus on working closely with Danish design brands, bringing together floral styling and curated objects in a way that feels both contemporary and quietly expressive, with softness, texture, and a dramatic presence to the hotel restaurant space.
