Summer Break

The summer holidays are taken very seriously in Scandinavia. Denmark sees in it’s warmer months with weeks long holidays, for both children and adults. And, for the first time in a while, I will take a leaf out of their book and go into summer shutdown mode – travelling back to the UK, and around Europe for a much needed break.

While the Danes may not experience the same settled long periods of sunshine that we do in LA, they still know how to make the most of it – spending long evenings at the beach and in their summer houses, which of course are filled with outdoor Danish design.

Like them, I’ll be back in mid-August, refreshed and revived.
